Your first appointment as a new patient

When you enter the dental surgery it is important to us that you have the opportunity to feel relaxed and comfortable. Our calming colour scheme and cutting-edge equipment creates the right atmosphere and Mr Woodcock, our caring, experienced dentist will ensure you have the opportunity to discuss any concerns or requirements that you have.

A thorough dental check up then takes place your to assess your dental health. A general health questionnaire will form an integral part of the evaluation process.

We take individual images of your mouth and teeth so we can review changes over time. Basic dental X-rays are included in the cost of your new patient check-up appointment. X-rays allow your dentist to assess areas that are not visible to the naked eye such as underneath your gums and right between your teeth.

Your dental condition is recorded on our specialist dental computer software and, once your dentist has fully evaluated your dental health, you will receive a customised treatment plan offering all the options to help you improve your oral health.

Regular check ups

We recommend that all our patients have a check up and hygienist appointment at least once every six months. This will not only to keep your smile in tip top condition, but to also ensure any signs of gum disease or tooth decay can be detected quickly and treated before pain occurs. Early detection of these problems can mean less treatment and is often less expensive. We will contact you in advance to let you know when your next check up is due.
